The most important shrimp technical event of the region will be held from 17 to 20 October at the Guayaquil Convention Center in Ecuador. The commercial exhibition will feature an area of approximately 7,000 square meters where more than 200 stands will be set up. Local and foreign companies will showcase the latest industry innovations from products and services across the entire aquaculture value chain. Nearly 3,000 people are expected to attend each day of the trade fair this year.
For the Aqua Expo 2022 Congress, the technical programme will be held in two concurrent sessions and will focus on animal health, nutrition and feed management, quality and safety, efficient production processes, use of new technologies, sustainability, certifications and shrimp market projections. More than 60 national and foreign speakers will participate in exhibitions and panels.
The opening ceremony will be held on 17 October 7:30 pm and will be attended by government and sectional authorities, as well as representatives of industry and academia. The event is sponsored by Agrantech, BioMar, BiofortSP, Cargill, DSM, Nicovita, Skretting and USSEC. Aqua Expo will also be covered by international media organisations like AquaFeed, Panorama Acuícola and Infofish.

The National Chamber of Aquaculture, organiser of the event for more than two decades, invites the world’s aquaculture sector to be part of the industry’s innovation and growth and join them at Aqua Expo 2022.
