The confirmation of exhibitor numbers for the 2025 event marks a 33 percent increase compared to previous editions, underscoring Aquafuture Spain’s growing international significance in the aquaculture sector.
"With five months still to go, demand has exceeded expectations, pushing us to expand the venue’s capacity,” said Juan Lijó, the event's director, in a press release. Organisers now anticipate more than 8,000 visitors during the three-day fair, driven by a broader programme and heightened international participation.
Supported by key institutions like Xunta de Galicia - a governing body for the region - and Abanca - a local retail bank - the event highlights Galicia’s central role in aquaculture innovation. Beyond its bustling exhibition floor, Aquafuture Spain 2025 will feature over 80 international speakers, industry roundtables, and dedicated presentation spaces for research and product showcases.
The event’s continued success reinforces Spain's standing as a hub for global aquaculture, attracting professionals, researchers, and businesses eager to share knowledge and drive the industry forward.
