Certification summit invites industry stakeholders to Warsaw

Aquaculture industry producers, suppliers, and certifiers have been invited to attend the GLOBALG.A.P 2024 summit, where attendees will explore the future of aquaculture certification.

GLOBALG.A.P – a certifier of agriculture and aquaculture – has announced that the 2024 edition of its annual summit will take place this September in Warsaw, Poland. The organisation has invited all industry stakeholders, be they producers, suppliers, buyers, or certifiers to attend the event, which will explore the role of certification in the aquaculture sector.

“This event serves as a hub for bringing together producers, suppliers, buyers, and certifiers,” said GLOBALG.A.P managing director Elmé Coetzer-Boersma, as reported by Seafood Source.

“It is a vibrant gathering where we can explore the latest innovative solutions available in the market. It is a unique opportunity to address aquaculture sector challenges with renewed insight and focus,” she continued.

The three day event promises to host an engaging programme covering a wide spectrum of developments, trends, and challenges faced by the aquaculture industry and its supply chains. Alongside plenary sessions exploring topics such as the future of farming and farm assurance, the event will also play host to the Changemaker Awards ceremony, which seeks to shine a light on stakeholders within the industry who foster positive change for the world of farming.

The GLOBALG.A.P 2024 summit will take place from 10 – 12 September in Warsaw, Poland.
