In this role, Katherine Bryar will lead Murray Cod Australia (MCA)'s brand, marketing and sales across domestic and export channels, focusing on strengthening partnerships, expanding distribution and enhancing the Aquna Murray Cod brand.

Bryar brings an exceptional record in premium food and aquaculture marketing, sustainability leadership and international brand development. Before joining MCA, Bryar worked with BioMar Group, a global leader in aquafeed, where she led strategic marketing programs that supported aquaculture producers in brand positioning, customer engagement and international expansion.

Earlier in her career, she worked closely with New Zealand King Salmon, where she contributed to the success of the Ōra King brand in the USA and the Regal King Salmon brand across Australasia. Bryar also played a significant role with Australian Eggs, where she repositioned eggs as a healthy food, resulting in a substantial increase in egg consumption nationally. She has also contributed to United Nations-affiliated programs focused on responsible food systems.
She brings more than 25 years of experience spanning brand building, category strategy and channel development across retail, foodservice and export markets.
