The average wholesale price of 18 vegetables was up 5.7 per cent compared to the previous week, with melon and fruit vegetables such as cucumber, tomato and eggplant leading the gains, up 17.4 per cent, 16.7 per cent and 13.4 per cent respectively.
The price of grain rose slightly, with the price of rice up 0.5 per cent week on week and flour remaining the same as the previous week.
The price of edible oil was steady but saw a drop in the price of soybean oil, down 0.1 per cent week on week, while rape seed oil and peanut oil remained the same as the previous week.
The price of aquatic products went down 0.2 per cent compared to the previous week, with the price of chub, crucian, and small hairtial down 1.1 per cent, 0.9 per cent and 0.7 per cent respectively.
The price of meat continued falling.
The price of pork and beef went down 0.5 per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively, and mutton remained the same.
The price of eggs and poultry slowed down, with the price of eggs down 0.6 per cent and chicken down 0.5 per cent.
