Melbourne is gearing up to host the industry’s leading academic scientists, policy makers and farmers at the International Conference on Aquaculture for Aqua Farm 2023 from 10 to 12 July.

Australia's aquaculture industry is on a strong growth trajectory

Aqua Farm 2023 will be interdisciplinary platform for aquaculture practitioners, researchers and policymakers to share their knowledge and showcase the industry’s cutting-edge developments.

Coming to the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia, Aqua Farm 2023 is set to be the premier interdisciplinary platform for aquaculture practitioners, researchers and policymakers to share their knowledge and showcase the industry’s cutting-edge developments. The event expects to host over 500 attendees from more than 30 countries from 10 to 12 July in Australia’s cultural capital. As part of the conference, the event organisers, Prism Scientific Services will host a series of seminars and panel discussions from global experts to give delegates practical insights into the industry, fish health, sustainability and their place in the value chain.

The event will also feature research presentations from every segment of the industry – from aquaponics, hatcheries, fish nutrition, diagnostics and policy perspectives on sustainable development. Delegates will be able to delve into aquaculture’s upcoming trends and learn how to address the seafood industry’s challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. Attendees can also participate in interactive Q&A sessions to expand their knowledge and build their networks. According to Prism Scientific Services, Aqua Farm 2023 will provide a unique platform interdisciplinary and cross-segment dialogue and give attendees an opportunity to discuss practical solutions for their farms and see the latest tech innovations in action.

Aqua Farm 2023 is welcoming delegates as the wider aquaculture industry is growing rapidly in the Asia-Pacific region. Aquaculture has been supplying the world with high-quality animal protein as landings from capture fisheries stagnate, making its contribution to global food security more important than ever. However, as the aquaculture sector has grown, stakeholders have identified multiple concerns that require long-term solutions. Aqua Farm 2023 gives the aquaculture community an opportunity to meet and share their insights on how to make the industry a strong and sustainable global player.

“Aqua Farm 2023 is uniquely designed with a combination of actionable, objective insights, expert guidance, peer networking and solution provider assessment. The experience will be unforgettable and will help you and your organisation achieve stronger performance against your most critical priorities,” a spokesperson from Prism Scientific Services commented. “The event is likely to sell out, so we recommend registering early.”

Researchers are welcome to submit their abstracts online before 30 March for peer review and delegates can click here to learn more and register for the event.
