According to the survey, conducted by the 'Great Place to Work Institute’, EWOS Chile is once again ranked among the best companies to work for in Chile.
More than 200 companies participated in this year’s study, 50 of which were considered the best ones. EWOS, participating for the second time, was ranked 22nd, an improvement from last year’s 32nd place.
The Great Place to Work survey is the world's work conditions reference ranking. It is based on workers’ opinions (Culture Index) and on evidence analysis of the human resources policies and procedures (Culture Audit).
"Our place on the ranking reflects our work in building a culture focused on our employees. It shows that our employees feel and see the effort we are making. Together we have made EWOS Chile a great place to work. We share EWOS’ challenges and successes in a trustful, rewarding environment," said Andrés Tagle, managing director of EWOS Chile.
EWOS Chile has almost 400 employees located in Bio Bio, Los Lagos, Aysén and Magallanes region. It is the most important fish feed company in Chile, with the largest plant in Chile, located in Coronel.
María Elisa Cisternas, Human Resources manager of EWOS Chile, said that they consider this a very good tool for measuring the impact of the policies they are applying. It enables all employees to present their opinions and their concerns at the same time.
"Additionally, the audit allows us to identify gaps and enables us to shorten them. We consider this an enormous opportunity to improve and grow as an organization. If our employees feel happy to work for EWOS as a result of this process, that is the best place on any ranking that we could have," she said.
