Consumers Concerned About Seafood Safety

US - Forty-eight per cent of consumers have said that fish and seafood is their biggest safety concern, when purchasing fresh food in the supermarket.

This research was carried out by the US Beef Checkoff programme. The purpose of the study was to establish consumer confidence in beef products.

Only 10 per cent said beef was their biggest safety concern.
