SOUTH KOREA - South Korea and Ecuador will sign an agreement this week to strengthen the safety of fishery products being traded between the two countries, Seoul officials said Sunday.

The agreement signed on Monday 12 November will require fishery goods-processing facilities to be registered with their respective quarantine authorities before products are exported, the Animal, Plant and Fisheries Quarantine and Inspection Agency said, YonhapNews Agency reports.
