RAStech 2025 (9-10 June) is an international conference and trade show for RAS technology owners and operators. Events like this provide a platform where RAS technicians can learn about the latest technologies in the industry from leading companies.

Anne Beswick, editor of RAStech, which is organising the event, said in a press release: “As demand in the aquaculture industry expands, we are proud to host our signature event, RAStech 2025. RAStech brings together the brightest minds in the industry - innovators, experts, and businesses - to share ideas, make connections, and have real conversations about the latest breakthroughs and what’s next for the future of RAS technology.”

According to the organising committee, RAS technology continues to lead the way in expanding the global aquaculture industry, whether it’s raising juvenile fish, growing larger smolt, or producing harvest-sized fish.

On the first day of the event, Yosuke Kurihara (ARK Inc.), Sara Rademaker (American Unagi) and Thorsten Vammen (FREA) will give a keynote exploring models for profitability at different production scales, entitled: “Big or small? Finding the right size for profitability.”

RAStech 2025 will explore topics across business, research, technology, and biology. In addition, a roundtable discussion will be led by the Aquaculture Engineering Society.
