UK - John Hanley has been elected as the Chairman of NOAH (National Office of Animal Health) for 2013, following this years NOAH AGM in London on the 2 May.

John Hanley is the UK Managing Director of Zoetis, the recently spun off animal health division of Pfizer. He has managed Zoetis / Pfizer Animal Health since 2009.

Prior to this John was Managing Director of Fort Dodge Animal Health and has held various sales and marketing positions, in the UK and internationally, including a period of five years in the European headquarters.

He started his career as a microbiologist with Beechams before joining Solvay-Duphar Veterinary in 1984, continuing his employment through acquisitions by Fort Dodge and Pfizer ultimately to lead the transition from Pfizer Animal Health to Zoetis.

He was previously vice-chairman having been elected to the NOAH Board for a second period of office in 2010.
