LocalCoho leader joins new seafood brand

Seremoni, which was launched last month and aims to deliver “Michelin-calibre” fish directly to local grocers and restaurants, has announced it has hired Michael Fabbro.

Fabbro brings over 25 years of experience in the food industry, building brands and scaling businesses, and has been tasked with accelerating Seremoni’s growth in the premium seafood space.

According to Seremoni, Fabbro’s most recent role, as CEO of land-based salmon producer LocalCoho, “saw him lead strategic growth and innovation in sustainable food production” and . “positioned the company as a pioneer in responsible aquaculture”.

Prior to LocalCoho, Fabbro was vice-president for the North American market at New Zealand King Salmon, where he spearheaded the development and successful launch of the Ora King brand, which is now the leading B2B salmon brand in North America.
