Last week, the average wholesale prices of aquatic products were down by 1.4 per cent compared to the previous week, with the biggest falls in the price of small hairtail, chub and large hairtail, down by 2.9 per cent, 2.8 per cent and 2.2 per cent respectively.
The price of meat products saw both rises and falls.
The pork price went down by 0.7 per cent, while both beef and mutton were up by 0.2 per cent respectively.
The retail price of chicken and eggs fluctuated by a small amount, with egg prices down by 0.6 per cent compared to the previous week and the price of chicken up by 0.1 per cent.
The retail price of cooking oil fluctuated slightly, with the price of soybean oil down by 0.1 per cent, rapeseed oil up by 0.1 per cent and peanut oil remaining stable.
The retail prices of food grain rose by a small amount Small packages of flour were up by 0.4 per cent, while small packages of rice stayed the same as the previous week.
The average wholesale prices of 18 vegetables were up by 1.3 per cent compared to the previous week. The top price rises were seen in tomatoes, ginger and balsam pear, up by 19.9 per cent, 15.3 per cent and 6.3 per cent respectively.
