The tickets are on sale via the Global Shrimp Forum website, with early-bird registration – which offers discounted tickets to prompt bookers – running until 1 April.

The forum gathers industry leaders, business owners and decision makers under one roof, to collaborate, network and help shape the future of the shrimp industry. This year’s event is set to build on several topics from the 2023 programme and will have a particular focus on ways the industry can boost the global consumption of shrimp.

The programme will also host a dedicated investors' summit and a climate summit, and will feature staple topics from previous years, including sessions on trade statistics, shrimp feed, feed ingredients, technology and innovation and legal and regulatory issues.

New for this year, there will also be a session on the implications of US anti-dumping and counter veiling duties.

Willem van der Pijl, joint founder and board member of the Global Shrimp Forum Foundation, said in a press release: “It’s been fantastic to see the Global Shrimp Forum grow from strength to strength, with our 2023 event reaching over 500 participants. So, if you want to increase your power as a leader or harness your already influential position, attending the Global Shrimp Forum will provide you with the platform to share your thoughts and learn crucial insights into the shrimp industry.

“We expect 2024 to be another sell-out year and look forward to sharing more details of the programme and confirmed speakers in the near future.”

Visit the event website to view the programme outline, and to register for this year’s event.
