The prices of meat saw both rises and falls with the wholesale price of pork up by 1.5 per cent compared to the previous week.
Pork prices have risen by 3.8 per cent on an accumulative basis over the previous three weeks.
The wholesale price of lamb rose by 0.4 per cent, while that of beef fell by 0.2 per cent.
The retail prices of chicken and eggs fell by small margin, with price of eggs and chicken down by one per cent compared to the previous week.
The average wholesale prices of eight kinds of aquatic products were up by 0.2 per cent as compared to the previous week.
Small cutlass fish, silver carp and large cutlass fish were up by two per cent, 0.6 per cent and 0.4 per cent respectively.
The retail prices of edible oil and grain fell slightly the prices of a small package of rice and a small package of flour remained unchanged compared to the previous week.
Soybean oil, peanut oil and rapeseed oil fell by 0.2 per cent, 0.1 per cent and 0.1 per cent respectively.
Affected by the rainy days, the average wholesale prices of 18 vegetables rose by 0.3 per cent compared to the previous week, after falling for six consecutive weeks.
The top price rises are white turnip, cucumber and cabbage, up by 13.2 per cent, 9.3 per cent and 5.3 per cent respectively.
