The Expo is expected to push Thailand forward to be the center of business and production of world-class ornamental fish by 2016, according to the ornamental fish strategies 2013 to 2016.
An ornamental fish contest, with the highest numbers of contestants in the world, will be held at the fair, including the exhibition of more than 200 types of exported ornamental fish, such as Goldfish, Guppy, Ray, Pompadour and Flower Horn Fish.
There will also be an exhibition of world’s biggest betta Fish competition, a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Birth of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Siridhorn and the sale of ornamental fish from farms at good prices. More than 2,000 visitors are expected resulting in a cash flow of hundreds of millions of baht.
