Targeted at the English and Welsh fishing industries, the show, which will be held on 10 and 11 October, will benefit from the excellent facilities in the exhibiting hall at the Bournemouth International Centre.
A wide range of equipment and service supply companies will be present at the expo, which will also include boat displays as one of the main focal points. Amongst the repeat visitors is trawl door manufacturer, Morgère, who will be promoting their PV3 doors which are ideally suited for English and Welsh waters.
Martin Bouchard of Morgère said: “This will be our second visit to the event and we are keen to highlight to fishermen the versatility of our trawl doors. Events such as this where we can directly meet fishermen are always useful because it provides a good forum for discussion on how to optimise the performance of their fishing equipment.”
Among the first time exhibitors at the expo is Solent Engineering Services, who supply hauling equipment, potting blocks, power packs and boat kits, as well as a range of repair services.
Lucy Middleton of Solent Engineering Services said: “We are really looking forward to Skipper Expo Int. Bournemouth and to meeting fishermen from all over England and Wales. We are confident that our comprehensive range of equipment will interest many fishermen.”
Sharon Boyle of Mara Media, the show organiser, said: “Skipper Expo Int. Bournemouth 2014 is shaping up to be a great show and we are particularly pleased at the excellent facilities in the Bournemouth International Centre exhibiting hall.
“Bournemouth is an ideal location because of its proximity to some of the key fishing areas and also because of its vast range of hotels and good transport links. We still have some stand space left but predict this will be snapped up pretty quickly, so I would urge any company thinking of exhibiting to get in touch with us now.
