The ministry said that last week product availability and production was affected by heavy rains in some regions and the average price of 18 vegetables rebounded, up 1.4 per cent week on week.
The price of Chinese cabbage, cabbage and celery rose by 10.1 per cent, 9.5 per cent and 6.3 per cent week on week.
The price of aquatic products was up by one per cent week on week, with crucian, grass carp and hairtail up by 1.7 per cent, 1.3 per cent and 1.2 per cent respectively.
The price of meat fluctuated
Pork prices continued to rebound, up 0.4 per cent week on week, while beef prices rose by 0.1 per cent and mutton prices were down 1.1 per cent.
The price of grain was steady, with rice and flour prices remaining the same as the previous week.
The price of edible oil fell slightly, with rapeseed oil and soybean oil down by 0.5 per cent and 0.1 per cent week on week respectively.
The prices of poultry and eggs fluctuated slightly. The price of eggs was down 1.9 per cent week on week, and the price of chicken up by 0.3 per cent.
