NPC Looks To Increase Opportunities

SAUDI ARABIA - The National Prawn Company (NPC), Saudi Arabias first venture into onshore aquaculture, is looking to increase not only sale opporutnities but also employment opportunities.

The company has appointed Esam Yousef Sabr as Country Manager (KSA Marketing and Sales), to drive and develop sales of NPC’s seafood within Saudi Arabia.

Esam Sabr joined the company in August and has been active in preparing for the launch of a new fresh prawn brand in Saudi Arabia, which is expected to be in the local market by the first quarter of 2010.

"Esam will bring a welcomed contribution of energy and experience to our sales and marketing efforts in the Kingdom”, said Eng. Ahmed Rashed Al-Ballaa, General Manager of NPC, “especially as we are about to launch our new range of products, which is not only a first for Saudi Arabia but for the rest of the GCC markets as well. It is a very exciting time for the company”.

NPC has also recently been praised by H.E. Iyad Madani, Deputy President of The King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Foundation for Housing Development and former Information Minster, for the opportunity it presented for local employment during an official tour of the region by
