Marine Harvest Volume Exceeds Expectations

NORWAY - Harvest volumes after the end of the first quarter 2010 have exceeded expectations.

Marine Harvest guided a total harvest volume of 66 thousand tonnes (head on gutted HOG) in the first quarter of 2010.

In reality harvest volumes have totaled 73 thousand tonnes, as follows:

Norway - 50 thousand tonnes
Chile - 1 thousand tonnes
Canada - 11 thousand tonnes
Scotland - 7 thousand tonnes
Other - 4 thousand tonnes

Operational EBIT per kg for Marine Harvest Norway was NOK 8.5. Operational EBIT for the group was approximately NOK 600 million for the quarter.

Full first quarter results for the first quarter will be released on 5 May 2010.
