Net Operating Revenues for the quarter to December 2014 were £30.8 million, a 43 per cent improvement on Q4 2013 (£21.5 million) and EBIT before fair value adjustment of £1.8 million (Q4 2013: -£1.0 million), on harvested volumes of 7,373 tonnes (Q4 2013: 5,271 tonnes).
The full-year Net Operating Revenues of £125.9 million are the highest since the Company’s inception; the figure is a 53 per cent increase on 2013, reflecting the strong performance and significant work
undertaken at SSC to increase production, capacity and efficiencies during 2014.
The overall revenues grew significantly in 2014, as did the proportion coming from exports. This rose
from 37 per cent in 2013 to 42 per cent in 2014, with SSC now exporting to 23 countries.
Central to this growth has been SSC’s position as a producer of the finest and most nutritious Scottish salmon, a fact reinforced by the award of the highly acclaimed Label Rouge quality mark with provenance being at the core of our strategy.
