The average wholesale price of 18 vegetables was up 1.9 per cent compared to the previous week, with melon and fruit vegetables such as wax gourd, green pepper and chili leading the gains, up 6.7 per cent, 6.2 per cent and six per cent month on month respectively.
The prices of aquatic products went up 0.3 per cent compared with the previous week, among which crucian, big hairtail and grass carp leading the gains, up 2.3 per cent, 1.4 per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively.
The price of grain remained stable, with the price of rice and flour remaining the same as the previous week.
The price of edible oil dropped, with the price of soybean oil and rape oil down 0.3 per cent and 0.2 per cent, and peanut oil up 0.1 per cent week on week respectively.
Meat prices remained stable, with the price of pork and beef down 0.4 per cent and 0.3 per cent respectively, and mutton up 0.1 per cent.
The price of eggs and poultry fluctuated slightly, with the price of eggs continuing to fall, down 0.7 per cent and chicken rallying, up 0.3 per cent.
