The import restrictions have been applied due to findings of undesirable bacteria in imported products from the business.
The Russian Veterinary Service has also announced that it will intensify checks on consignments from operations N-234 Egil Kristoffersen & Sons, N-950 Fish hook AS, SF-364 Martin E. Birknes Eftf. AS, N-800 Pundslett Salmon AS and ST-423 Salmar AS.
FSA is working on the follow-up of the aforementioned companies.
Breivoll Fish Products Banned from Russian Market
NORWAY - Fish product company Breivoll Marine Products has been temporarily banned from the Russian market as of 27 February 2012.
