The main purpose of the visit, which took in ports stretching from Burghead to Peterhead, was to meet with as many fishermen as possible so as to increase awareness of the forthcoming Aberdeen expo and to discuss show content.
A meeting was also held with the Scottish Seafood Association, who confirmed that they will once again be exhibiting and bringing to Aberdeen their extremely popular stand that showcases the very best of premium Scottish seafood.
Sharon Boyle said: “It was a fantastic and very worthwhile trip and we were delighted by the excellent reception we received from fishermen and local businesses. We are delighted with the strong interest being shown in Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen and it looks set to be another highly successful show.”
The Skipper Expo Int. Aberdeen 2014 will be held in the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre on 30 and 31 May.
