Susan Tinch, who is organising the awards, told The Fish Site: “Nearly 50 applications and nominations have been received to date, but – due to the impact of the recent snow - a number of companies have asked for a short extension. As we feel it’s important to ensure as many as possible are represented for the competition – and the chance to showcase the best initiatives in UK aquaculture, the deadline has now been extended to midnight on 7 March.”
