Update of White Spot in Madagascar

MADAGASCAR - Earlier this month, the Director of Veterinary Services has reported cases of white spot disease virus in shrimp at an aquaculture facility in Tsangajoly.

At the moment, this unit, owned by Aquamen E.F is the only known infected area.

This is the first time the disease has been recognised in the country.
