“The farm shrimps of Iran have not met the quality standards of the Spanish health ministry,” Hassani added, noting that following talks between the organization and the trade attaché of Spain Embassy in Tehran, it was agreed that the two sides try their best to resolve the problem.
A consignment, around 6,000 tons, of Iran’s farm shrimps was stopped at a Spanish port due to what the European country’s health ministry called as contamination with an authorized amount of a medicine that is used in shrimp farming.
