New CEO For Cermaq

NORWAY - The Board of Directors of Cermaq ASA has appointed Jon Hindar (55 years) as CEO of Cermaq ASA. He is currently the CEO of Norsun AS. The final decision on when Mr Hindar will take up his position is not made.

Mr Hindar is currently the CEO of Norsun AS, a technology company in the solar energy industry. His previous positions include Senior Vice President of Invitrogen Corp., CEO of Dynal Biotech ASA, and Partner and Managing Director of Fondsfinans ASA. Jon Hindar is on the board of several companies including Photocure ASA and Handicare ASA.

Mr Hindar holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has supplementary management education at IMD from Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a Norwegian citizen living in Oslo, Norway.
