Aquaculture for all

New issue of Sustainable Aqua Magazine now available

The latest issue of Sustainable Aquaculture Magazine is now available online.

Published to coincide with this year’s Aqua Nor exhibition – the largest aquaculture trade fair on the planet – it contains a range of excellent features, offering insights from the cutting edge of the global aquaculture industry.

With inputs from leading aquacultural academics, frontline researchers and our own editorial team, this issue covers a wide array of subjects and species. Highlights include a look at a project that aims to grow market-sized lobsters without the need to provide feed; a run-down of the challenges and rewards of growing salmon in high energy sea sites; an analysis of the opportunities offered by diversifying production; a tour of Shetland’s first lumpsucker production facility; and some thoughts on potential offered by the West’s nascent seaweed production sector.
