Regarding the first component, the major fisheries in the inner estuary are for bass.

Fishermen will be trained to become involved in the protection and care of marine species.

Meanwhile Silvia Salas Marquez, researcher at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico presented his experiences in the management of other fisheries in a talk given to the technicians of the SRP and the University of Santa Elena.

He said it is necessary to strengthen the knowledge and share the experiences Mexico has with similar fisheries management and resource protection.
