Crayfish Plague Reported in Taiwan

TAIWAN - Five outbreaks of crayfish plague have been confirmed in Taiwan.

The outbreaks were reported on redclaw crayfish farms in Changhua City, Touwu Township, Gongguan Township and Ligang Township.

In total, the outbreak affected 160017 crayfish, leading to 148217 deaths.

Movement restrictions have now been implemented on the infected farms.
