ADM Animal Nutrition debuts new high-concentrate protein at 2018 Aquaculture America Conference

Nutrition

ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM), announced today the launch of a new quality protein source for aquaculture and swine diets, PROPLEX T.

Composed of dried fermentation biomass, PROPLEX T provides a consistent source of digestible protein and high levels of essential amino acids for aquaculture and swine diets. PROPLEX T has proven to be a successful replacement for other protein sources, such as fish meal, in diets for fish and shrimp, and when used in swine nursery diets during the starter phase.

“PROPLEX T is a cost-effective protein source that can be used in place of expensive or variable protein products,” said Dr John Bowzer, aquaculture research scientist for ADM. “Additionally, PROPLEX T provides feed manufacturers with added flexibility in formulations due to its high protein content and favorable amino acid profile.”

Representatives from ADM Animal Nutrition will be featuring PROPLEX T at booth 409 at the 2018 Aquaculture America Show, February 19 – 22 in Las Vegas. Dr John Bowzer will also give an oral overview of PROPLEX T during a Feed Ingredients session on Tuesday, February 20 at 2:45 pm.
