Trident Aqua Services was formally launched in May 2025 as the result of the merger between Intership, Aquaship and FSV Group. With operations across three continents, a fleet of more than 60 specialized vessels and over 1,000 employees, Trident is now the second-largest maritime service provider to the global aquaculture industry.

Aasmyr has served as CEO of FSV Group for the past seven years, during which he led the company through a period of significant growth and operational maturity.

Brandal, who has led Intership since its inception, has been instrumental in building the company into a globally recognized player. He will continue to remain actively involved in Trident Aqua Services as a director and consultant.

Now it's time for the next phase, and I am confident that Arild is the right person to lead Trident forward,” said Brandal.
