5th Int'l Sturgeon Symposium to be held in Ramsar

IRAN - Head of Iran's International Sturgeon Research Institute Mohammad Pourkazemi here Sunday said that the Fifth International Sturgeon Symposium will be held at Parsian Hotel in the provincial city of Ramsar on May 9-13.

He added that the symposium mainly aims to present the latest scientific progress associated with preserving and breeding sturgeon fish and preventing the extinction of the present generation of the species.

"Two hundred articles have already been submitted to the secretariat of the symposium, out of which 150 selected ones will be presented during the upcoming event.
