Vietnamese Aquaculture Production Up 4.9 per cent

VIET NAM - According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, aquaculture production in September 2014 reached 372 thousand MT, up 15.9 per cent year on year, bringing accumulated aquaculture production to 2,491 thousand MT, up 4.9 per cent year on year.

Pangasius farming area in Mekong Delta was 7,000 hectares with the production of 757 thousand MT, reports VASEP.
