Aquatic products rank the fourth among Viet Nam's exports to the US with over $1.5 billion in turnover in 2013, making up 22.6 per cent of total seafood exports, reports VASEP.
Two-way trade between Viet Nam and the US reported a 130-fold increase to total $30 billion last year, of which Viet Nam's exports to the US valued at $23.9 billion.
The 2014 Seafood Expo North America attracts about 19,000 buyers and suppliers of fresh, frozen and packaged seafood products, equipment used in fishery industry from more than 100 countries across the world.
