According to 9News.com.au, Tassal plans to build 28 sea cages in Okehampton Bay near Triabunna.
The plans have met fierce environmental opposition, but a Marine Farm Planning Review Panel report released on Thursday gave the green light to farming in the bay, rejecting arguments the waters were too hot and too shallow for salmon farming.
