The promotion is part of the project "Implementation of the National Sustainable Aquaculture Development in Paraguay".

The National Aquaculture Development plan reflects the government's interest in promoting the development, diversification, competitiveness of family farms and the fight against poverty.

In this framework, the National Plan focuses on productive and economic improvement, increased productivity, increased consumption of farmed fish and technical capacity building.
