SEYCHELLES - Ocean Products Seychelles Ltd, belonging to Mauritius based GOIA Ltd., has obtained Friend of the Sea certification for crude fish oil originating from heads of Yellowfin and Skipjack tuna.

The company complies with all Friend of the Sea requirements and can now display the official seal of approval on its products.

The core focus of Ocean Products Seychelles is the optimization of the quality of tuna oil through the most effective extraction ways, balancing traceability and new technologies.

“Together with quality, sustainability is the main priority for Ocean Products Seychelles and its customers,” said Jean Yves Rousseau, Managing Director of Ocean Products Seychelles.

“This is the reason why we have chosen Friends of the Sea, which represents the most advanced ecolabel for fish oil, to assess the sustainable origin of our products.”
