GAA Repositions International Marketing Team

Post-harvest

GLOBAL - The Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) is repositioning its international marketing team. Peter Redmond, vice president of development for the GAA's Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) programme, is moving from the United States to the United Kingdom to focus on BAP's business development activities in the European marketplace.

Redmond has been instrumental in expanding BAP's presence in the North American marketplace.

Around 75 US and Canadian supermarket and restaurant companies endorse the BAP programme and offer seafood from BAP-certified facilities.

Expanding BAP's presence in the European marketplace is among GAA's 2013 priorities.
