With Strøm joining Seafood People, the Bergen-based management consulting and executive search company continues to build its roster of experts to be a one-stop-shop of services for the seafood industry.

As the CEO of Nova Sea for over 10 years, Strøm strengthened the company’s position by investing in the value chain, from broodstock production to the end market and consumers. During his tenure he modernised existing operations while achieving year-on-year growth, and significantly expanded jobs in rural communities in the north of Norway.

“I have been fortunate to be part of the aquaculture industry as a leader and investor for decades. As the industry needs to continually master the fundamentals like maximising production, mortality, and biological issues, they need to think innovatively," said Strøm in a press release. "I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with current and future leaders to help execute their strategies.”

“Odd’s vast knowledge of the global aquaculture industry and his ability to motivate a team and inspire leaders align perfectly with Seafood People,” added Thomas Bakke, Seafood People's managing director. “He has a heart, talent, and passion for operational excellence in sustainability. I believe his relentless dedication to pushing the aquaculture industry forward makes him an incredible asset to our team and clients.”
