Technicians are trained to replicate knowledge to small aquaculture producers in the province of Napo.
The themes deal with rural aquaculture, craft design, pond construction, temperature, oxygen and pH of the water and the growing and harvesting of fish in captivity.
The goal is to teach and advise small farmers, to exercise and diversify aquaculture production activities.
Producing and consuming fish from the area, is to provide protein and improve the quality of life of rural populations.
Paul Aguirre, director Zonal 2 MAGAP Aquaculture and Fisheries, said that in exercising aquaculture, the residents of this area will have a new alternative work.
In recent months, the MAGAP also provided cachama and tilapia fingerlings, so that producers can now cultivate this species.
