Dalian Begins Production After Norwegian Investment

CHINA - The Dalian Dyrkorn Fishing Gear Co, which is backed by Norway's the Morenot Group and is located in the bounded area of the city of Dalian, Liaoning province, started its production last week.

It mainly produces deep-sea fishing equipment used by fishing boats. It also has plans to broaden its work with Dalian in other projects.

The company is in the Liangjiadian Industrial Zone on a 15,000-square-meter piece of land. Its output is expected to be worth more than $100 million in three-years'time.

In addition to ocean fishing supplies and equipment it also works in marine aquaculture and breeding, and has plans for offshore oil exploration and development, beginning in June of next year.

Liangjiadian is a bounded area with its own policy advantages and a location and industrial advantage, making it an important base for advanced equipment manufacturing. It has many companies, including TDC, the Dalian Xingzhao Machinery Co, and Dalian Ruiyuan Power Co.
