The prices of aquatic products fell by 0.5 per cent week on week, led by crucian, carp and large yellow croaker, down 1.3 per cent, 1.3 per cent and 0.9 per cent respectively.
The prices of meat saw both rises and falls, with the price of pork and mutton down 0.6 per cent and 0.3 per cent week on week, and beef up 0.2 per cent.
The price of chicken fell by 0.1 per cent compared to the previous week, while the price of eggs rallied, up 0.3 per cent.
The price of edible oil continued to fall, with the prices of soybean oil and rapeseed oil down 0.2 per cent week on week and peanut oil the same as the previous week.
The prices of rice and flour remained the same as the previous.
The average wholesale price of 18 vegetables was down 2.4 per cent compared with the previous week, with the prices of green bean, lettuce and cabbage down 8.8 per cent, 8.3 per cent and seven per cent respectively month on month.
