The average wholesale prices of eight kinds of aquatic products were up by 0.3 per cent compared with the previous week.
The top rise in prices were for silver carp, grass carp and crucian carp, which rose by 1.2 per cent, 1 per cent and 0.8 per cent respectively.
Retail prices of edible oil and grain remained basically stable.
Small package rice rose by 0.2 per cent compared to previous week, while soybean oil fell by 0.1 per cent, and small package of flour, peanut oil and rapeseed oil remained unchanged.
The wholesale prices of 18 vegetables were up by 3.4 per cent compared with the previous week due to the reduced supply of leaf vegetables because of the high temperatures.
The top rises in price were for cabbage, celery and rape, up by14.1 per cent, 12.5 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively.
