After reviewing the plan on corrective actions submitted by Viet Nam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply (MAPA) proposed cancelling the suspension of granting import licenses for seafood products from Viet Nam, reports VASEP.
The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) sent a notice to MAPA on 27 March, requesting that Vietnamese imports be resumed.
Brazil is an important market for Vietnamese seafood products, particularly as demand is falling in other markets such as the US and EU.
