The field day will provide opportunities to exchange ideas with other farmers and researchers.
The first workshop at the Bayfield Pavilion will give the latest information on VHS and other diseases.
There will be hands-on demonstrations of NADFs projects including: USDA-ARS Yellow Perch project NCRACSpot fin shiner project, Walleye grow out project, Brook Trout feed trial, Wetland effluent pond and biosecurity measures to implement at the farm.
Greg Fischer Facility Manager Operations & Research ProNADF, Red Cliff, WI who will present results and give updates of NADFs aquaculture projects.
Dr. Gretchen Gerber Owner Country Care Pet Hospital, will assist with fish health assessment demonstration.
Dave Gollon, Jr. President Gollon Bait & Fish Farm Dave will talk on biosecurity from a fish farmers perspective.
Dr. Lori Gustafson Veterinary Epidemiologist National Surveillance Unit at USDA APHIS will talk on biosecurity and VHS surveillance.
Dr. Myron Kebus WI State Fish Health Veterinarian will present a workshop on biosecurity efforts in Wisconsin and fish health assessment.
Dr. Robert Smith Veterinarian Owner Clayton Veterinary Care will be doing a fish health assessment demonstration.
The Aquaculture Field Day and Vendors Fair runs on 14 June with meetings of the Wisconsin Aquaculture Board and the Wisconsin Aquaculture Industry Advisory Council and the Wisconsin Aquaculture Association Fish Fry of 15 June.

Aquaculture Field Day on Lake Superior
US - Lake Superior will be the backdrop for the Aquaculture Field Day and Vendors Fair, at the weekend.
