Viet Nam’s relevant authorities will guide and inspect consignments of live black tiger shrimp and live fish products exported to China under a new Health Certificate (HC).

Under the new HC, seafood exporters to China must provide full information on farms (names, location and codes if available) or names of districts and provinces where fish were caught, reports VASEP.

Under China’s requirement, other live farmed fish exported to the market must be sourced from farms which have been granted codes.
