Viet Nam Increases Seafood Trade with Israel

VIET NAM - Through June 2014, trade between Viet Nam and Israel increased significantly, reaching $426 million, up 53 per cent year-on-year.

Viet Nam exported $261 million worth of goods to Israel and imported $165 million worth of goods from the country, reports VASEP.

Main exported items included mobile phones and components, seafood products and footwear.

According to Ministry of Industry and Trade, Israel is considered a lucrative market for Vietnamese exporters, particularly in high technology. Viet Nam also has the advantages of producing processed products, consumer products and agro-forestry and fishery products.
