To achieve the export target of $7 billion by 2014 and $10 billion by 2020, VASEP and its member companies are required to make more efforts, to innovate and strengthen the union to overcome challenges, Tran Thien Hai, the chairman of VASEP expressed at the conference.
VASEP will tightly coordinate with MARD, MOIT, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in policy advocacy, overcoming trade barriers, promoting Vietnam seafood to foreign countries, attending international seafood shows in Japan, the US, South Korea, building brand name for Viet Nam pangasius exported to EU.
